Must see when you are in Cape Town. You can take the cableway to the top and walk around on top of the mountain. Good tour is to walk to Maclear’s Beacon. Don't forget water & sun blocker!
Come on a sunny day and walk the Smuts Track (no climbing but intermediate hiking). Last part dangerous if cloudy or windy. But the view is worth the walk up. Calculate 4-4,5 hours from KirstenboschBG
Has to be one of the best venues you ever going to experience . Views fantastic . When on the summit you feel a special energy . Go up there and experience 1 of the 7th modern day wonders of the world
Walked up via Platteklip Gorge and it was well worth it. Don't pay a guide to get exercise on your time. Just prepare sensible clothes and sunblock then look forward to the amazing views!
Set aside ~3 hours to hike up the mountain if you can, otherwise take the cable car up and enjoy the views. I recommend going later in the day to catch sunset or earlier for sunrise.
