To buy a ticket to the Crane, you have to go to neighbourly building of Maritime Culture Centre. Generally it's a good place if you want to get some knowledge about historical maritime culture.

The Crane - a defensive town gate and a harbor crane in one. You can go inside the wheels which once propelled the crane's mechanism. Sadly, for safety reasons, it cannot be set in motion any more...

Nice to see if visiting Gdansk. Interesting to see workings of the crane/structure from inside. Some historical information/exhibits but we didn’t find v.interesting-not translated into English.
